1. Discovery

We start by capturing your business objectives and your desired outcomes, as well as understanding what framework development that you already have. During discovery, Sonar6 also previews resources and time, and lays out what decisions need to be made to keep the implementation process straightforward and focussed for you.

2. Framework Design

What are your people measured on?  Our consultants will define measurement factors that accurately match your business objectives and design processes for using Sonar 6 effectively in your organisation.

If you have an existing measurement model (that you have designed in-house or purchased from a third party like Lominger or DDI) we can massage it to work well in Sonar6.

If you are new to performance management, we can create factors by choosing one of our off-the-shelf models and tailoring it to your business, or we can even build you a bespoke model from scratch.

3. Build and Test

This phase is about building your confidence in how Sonar6 will look and work for you.  There are several ways to do this.

Your HR team and executive sponsor can decide to trial the build, or you can elect to do a test run with a carefully selected user group within your organisation. For larger scale enterprises, you may wish to implement a full-scale pilot programme.

The goal is to minimise complexity while offering you a robust means of confirming the framework.  Once built, there is system-principle sign off and we move into the next phase.

4. People Data Upload

This is the point at which your people data is imported into Sonar6 (normally from your payroll or HRIS system).  We make available easy-to-use templates to simplify the task.  Clean data, correctly formatted allows the upload to happen smoothly, and leads to your Sonar6 software being ready more swiftly.

5. Training and Communication

Sonar6 is about usability.  To get users up and running, it can be as instant as accessing online user guides.  You could also opt to have customised user guides created just for your business.

Training options range from train the trainer, giving you total internal control over rolling out training for different user groups across your organisation, through to our consultants offering you in-house face-to-face training.

For those of you with people across differing locations, webinar training offers scale and reach, with real time learning across differing zones possible. 
And once training is complete, you’re ready to roll.

6 Framework Review & Optimisation

Your review rounds are complete and you’ve collected valuable evidence of your organisational competencies and people talent.  We’ve been working with you offering support and recommendations when you needed it, and now it’s time to review the results.
