Dianna Wilusz, Managing Director of Craford's Human Capital and Private Equity Services practice
Dianna Wilusz is Managing Director of Craford’s Human Capital and Private Equity Services practice in San Rafael, California. In this role, she is responsible for growing the firm’s Private Equity segment and Human Capital Management business through the design and delivery of client specific human resources programs and business process automation and outsource solutions.
She has more than 18 years’ human resource management and operations experience, including senior leadership roles at National Semiconductor, Beceem Communications and Lam Research. Dianna’s has served a number of clients across many industries and internationally in the areas of compensation, leadership development, recruiting, talent management, human resources information systems, board of directors and senior executive management. Dianna has helped several clients develop and deployed scalable global HR infrastructures directly aligned to the business strategy, financial objectives and optimizing human resources.
Dianna received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Industrial Relations from the University of Maryland. She holds an MBA, in Technology Management, from the University of Phoenix.
Maryellen Mech, Vice President Human Resources, Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza
Maryellen Mech joined Papa Murphy’s International, Inc., in March 1999. Throughout her career with Papa Murphy’s, Ms. Mech held a variety of operations positions in Portland, Oregon; Sacramento, California; Minneapolis, Minnesota overseeing Franchise and Company Store operations. In October 2006, Ms. Mech was promoted to her current position of Vice President of Human Resources and relocated to the Corporate office in Vancouver, Washington.
Prior to joining Papa Murphy’s, Ms. Mech worked with McDonald’s Corporation in the Portland Region as an Operations Consultant. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign and also obtained her MBA Human Resources/Organizational Development from Marylhurst University, Oregon.
Carol Piras, Managing Partner, The Fusion Group (Santa Clara only)
Ms. Piras has over 20 years experience as a business leader, organizational consultant, executive coach and trainer. She provides domain knowledge and expertise in design and development of leadership strategies and architecture that achieve business goals. Her work with leaders focuses on business and leadership alignment with individuals and their teams. In addition she evaluates and evolves leadership initiatives with the organization at large.
Carol’s experience spans a wide range of industries including, high technology and engineering, biotech, financial services, defense and start-up/entrepreneurial companies. Having held internal leadership positions from COO to Human Resources, she understands the pragmatic realities under which companies operate. Carol stays abreast of latest trends and research in the field of leadership development and brings state-of-the-art thinking to client’s needs. She brings tools and assessments to clients including 360 feedback instruments, online survey tools, e-learning technologies, Myers Briggs and team building workshops, as well as customized resources.
Melinda Laubscher, Director Learning & Development, ISG Shared Services - The Standard Insurance Company (Portland only)
Melinda Laubscher is the Director Insurance Services Group Learning & Development at The Standard Insurance Company, Portland, Oregon. She began her career as a university professor teaching labor relations, employment law, human resources, compensation, organization behavior, and organization development. Subsequent to academics she has worked at National Semiconductor, LSI Logic, and Mentor Graphics.
Her specialties lie in management and executive development and coaching, performance management, organization development and change, transforming training departments to a performance consulting role, and aligning human resource and training processes and functions to strategic business goals. She has a Masters in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from Purdue University Krannert Graduate School of Business and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources and Labor Relations from University of Michigan Graduate School of Business.
