The Team
Our sales team is the initial point of physical contact between Sonar6 and people wanting to revolutionize their employee performance. Ultimately, the sales team is responsible for translating this initial experience into direct revenue for the company.
The team is made up of:
- The Head of Sales, whose primary role is to ensure the sales team understands what success looks like and have the resources required to achieve those goals.
- The Direct Sales Team, which is responsible for leading companies through the sales process: viewing, evaluating, negotiating and approving the purchase of Sonar6.
- Pre-Sales Team, who support the Direct Sales Team and are critical to the success of Sonar6; without them the Sales Team wouldn't know which leads are best suited for the sales process. Pre-Sales also help spread the news about Sonar6 to companies that may not have heard about our services yet.
The Role
The Pre-Sales role reports directly to the Head of Sales. You'll work alongside the current Pre-Sales team to generate and qualify leads for the Direct Sales team. You will do this by:
- Communicating directly with the hundreds of monthly leads generated by our awesome marketing team
- Maintaining communication with thousands of prior leads (geared towards future conversion)
- Establish a consistent pipeline on a daily basis through lead generation and high-volume (80+) cold calling efforts
- Identify clients' needs and cultivate effective sales relationships via phone and email
- Set online demonstrations for our Direct Sales Team, and work with them to close new business
Credentials, Experience, and Skills
- The perfect candidate will have:
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; you'll spend a lot of time communicating with leads via phone and email but especially phone
- Remarkable work ethic
- Highly organized
- Previous experience with salesforce.com
- At least 2 years prior experience in lead generation/qualifying
- Social media presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other
- Knowledge of Human Resources, Organizational Development, HR technology, Cloud technology would be ideal

- Managers give feedback in both formal reviews and adhoc appraisals
- Objectives defined in the sales plan, dev project plan or as assigned by your manager
- Feedback from peers and associates as applicable
